Ok, so recently i´ve watched a few movies over the christmas season. I´ve watched;

Hot Fuzz,
Death Proof,
I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry,
Rush Hour 3,
Resident Evil 3,
The Butterfly Effect 2,
Wild Hogs

Most of them were good, some even great. Hot Fuzz was great, and it was good to watch a English movie for a change. It goes to show we can still make some cool action movies with our great British comedy thrown in.

Death Proof was ok, but it got a little boring at times. The best bits were the gory collisions and cool muscle car scenes. kurt Russell gets his ass kicked by girls though xD

I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry was hilarious! Adam Sandler always manages to make me lol while watching his movies, and this is no exception. Great movie, i´d recommend this one alot.

Rush Hour 3 was another good one. I´m a Jackie Chan fan, and i really like Chris Tucker too, so this was a must see for me. Similar theme to the first 2 - Chan kicks everyones ass while Tucker makes us all laugh.

Resi Evil 3 was a bit of a let down to me. I expected a bit more. I dunno, it seemed pretty short too, or maybe thats because it seems like the whole movie takes place in 1 day....i dunno...i just didn´t like it as much as the first 2.

The Butterfly effect 2 is great. Very under-rated too. I didn´t even know there was a #2 untill i saw it, and good job i did, because it´s a great movie. I loved the first one, so i knew i´d like this one. the butterfly effect deserves more attention.

Wild Hogs was regular. It makes you laugh, but not one of those lolz you´d get from Adam Sandler for example. It offers some action/fight scenes but not as much as Jackie Chan/Chris Tucker would give you. So it´s an ok film, but not the best. Nice bikes and stuff in it though. I guess thats it´s selling point.

As for games, i just brought myself World in Conflict today (Saturday) and so far so good. It´s a sort of strategic war game, like command & conquer, but more realistic. Amazing graphics and effects, but i´m not that far into it yet.

UPDATE; I´m really getting into this game now. It´s amazing, the graphics are incredible and it´s really fun, and challenging. It can get difficult at times but i guess that just makes it better. You have to think alot about what you´re going to do etc... Check out these videos;
Intro FMV
Gameplay - Some guy´s explaining a bit about the game
Gameplay2 - This is actual gameplay, just look how detailed everything is and if you watch the whole video you can see how close you can zoom in etc...
One of the creators explaning some of the amazing effects included in the game (must watch)

Ok, so i just want to say Happy New Year to everyone, even though it was 4 days ago. The reason for this being that my computer broke on christmas eve and i just got it back yesterday, so i´ve missed christmas and new years on NG :(

Oh well, atleast i had a good time. I didn´t get a great deal of presents, mainly just clothes....i got 3 T-Shirts, 2 Long sleeved T-Shirts and 2 jackets...oh, and a pack of socks, lol :D Aside from the clothes i got a few DVDs an aftershave and Axe spray.

As for New Years....we had dinner at my house. There was about 30 of us, lol, because i had some family from England over that came to spend christmas here. After 12 o´clock passed and we´d all wished each other happy new year we headed to the local bar where we started to knock back the ol´ vodka (not to mention a few i had at mine before leaving). They closed at 3am so we caught a Taxi to a bar where my brother works (yeah, he had to work on new years) but when we got there they were closing, so we went to another near by bar and had another drink.
It wasn´t all that lively there so we called another taxi and headed back to where i live. There´s another bar close by that usually stays open alot later, so we went there, and i was suprised to see it was near enough full (this was about 4:30am). So we had some more alcoholic bevarages in there with a song and dance, and we decided to call it a night at 6:00am....well, we left the bar at 6:00am, but the party went on a little longer for me and my girlfriend when we got home ;)

I took loads of pics in the last week and a half...probably near 200 photos...all on my mobile phone which has a decent 3.2 megapixel camera, so i´ll try and upload some of them when i get a bit of time.

Ok, so i pretty much know what i´m going to get for christmas this year. First up, i´ve got the Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children, limited edition boxset, which includes the 2 dvd movie + bonus material, 10 postcards, a 100 script book, and a 75 page novel of AC. I´m pretty chuffed about that, being the FF freak that i am ;)
Secondly, i´ll probably be getting the Wii. This is sort of a split present for me and my wife, but we´re buying it ourselves, because she likes it too :D
My Brothers and Parents will probably get me some clothes and maybe a few DVDs as usuall, so thats all good. As you get older you get less stuff, but this year seems pretty nice.
I remember when i was a kid i used to have like 15 presents under the tree, and i´d be up at 6am bugging my parents to wake up. But ofcourse things change by the time you´re 21.

Anyway, just want to say a big Merry Christmas to you all again just incase i don´t have time to make another news post. Have a good one!

UPDATE: 22nd Dec.

Just reached level 21. Hurrah for me :D

Ok, so we´re getting pretty close to Christmas now, and i must say, i do really like Christmas. It´s a jolly time of the year (yeah i know it sounds like i took that straight from a christmas song) and the christmas decorations at home, in the streets and in the shops/malls, gives December a nice atmosphere. It would be cool if i could have a white christmas, but over here in Spain i think thats near impossible. It´s pretty cold here, but very sunny still during the day, but i suppose it´s still alot warmer than some places where you guys live.

Early merry christmas to you all!
